Biography
Wendy focuses her practice on a variety of complex commercial litigation, general civil litigation and corporate and business law. She has advised clients in a variety of matters, including breach of contract, common law and securities fraud, negligent misrepresentation and tortious interference with business relationships. Wendy has also advised private and public corporate clients in connection with general corporate matters, stock and asset acquisitions and SEC annual and periodic reporting requirements.
During her career as an attorney, Wendy aided in the prosecution of a nationwide multi-million dollar class action for securities fraud and RICO violations on behalf of investors in a securities trading program against the program’s seller and its attorneys who rendered an opinion regarding that program. After denial of the defendant law firm’s motion for summary judgment and related petition for writ of certiorari before the U.S. Supreme Court, the court approved class status and the action was settled for $8.25 million in favor of the investors.
